I could understand their concerns. The Hopkinton Fair Association has  
had terrible problems with their insurance company since the  
accidental death of a couple of Fair attendees a few years ago. I'm  
not sure they'd be covered, or how the fire marshall would deal with  
it. You'd likely get much better cooperation if you asked: Email
