How thick is the stand of trees?  I'd be tempted to shimmy up one, 
strap on a dish and pull down a couple hundred feet of RJ6 cable.  You 
might lose signal in a heavy wind but they usually go back to where 
they started.  Free mast.

If falling to your death is a problem, there may be a tree guy in town 
who would do such a thing for a case of beer.  Or money.

It may not be cheaper though to get DSS and a naked cable modem.  They 
have 'special' pricing for those of us who don't want their local TV 
service.
