  Just to be explicit: My recent comments on HTML mail [1] were not
intended to condemn all uses of HTML mail.  It does have its uses. 
HTML mail may even be appropriate on a mailing list (or not, and I'm
not interested in debating that right now).  But it was mangling your
messages, making already cryptic output almost unreadable.  That's
clearly a Bad Thing.
