Can TWiki URLs be made to suck less?

I've used mediawiki (the wikipedia engine), and they have help content
on how to make their URLs not ugly.  I am not exactly suggesting that
the fix is to switch to mediawiki (although I like the software), but
rather that their 'howto' may provide some useful info about what is
possible... using mod_rewrite, and through other hacks.
