Reminder: Hosstraders ONE WEEK AWAY!!! May 5th, 6th

Just a reminder that Hosstraders, a ham radio/electronic geek swap  
meet and gab fest, takes place next Friday and Saturday May 5th and  
6th  at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Best Bargains are to be had  
at the crack of dawn on Friday (I think they actually open the gates  
around 9 AM). Admission is $10 early and $5 too late, with all  
profits going to the Shriner's Childrens Burn Hospitals. The three  
guys who have run this since time immemorial have contributed in  
excess of ONE MILLION DOLLARS to that worthy charity.

GNHLUG will have a booth, where several members will offer Linux  
distros for a nominal copying charge. Drop by and say hi. If you have  
some old hardware you'd like to see given a second life, feel free to  
donate it to the booth, but don't expect to get rich doing it. You  
must come back and take back anything that doesn't go - please don't  
leave your fellows with additional junk to get rid of. The best price  
to get things gone is FREE. It's been my experience that most of the  
folks cruising the shows are looking for real inexpensive bargains,  
so this is a great time to empty the cellar, closet or data center of  
unneeded stuff without incurring a recycling fee.

There were a fair number of vendors with computer stuff last year,  
and some bargains for those smart enough to haggle for them. Come on  
by and try it out.
