Strange PPP Disconnect errors?

I'm connecting over BlueTooth (although I can connect from the laptop
to the phone via USB). I dont know how to intercept the Palm->Phone
BlueTooth communication. I dont think I can just listen to ppp0 in
wireshark; at least I dont see how that would help any more than the
existing PPP debug info.
