7:15  Introductory remarks

7:20  Virtual Account Services - Improving Security
          Presenter: Stan Brinkerhoff

        A presentation on utilizing a Linux-based server and a
        SQL database to provide virtual accounts in an ISP-style
        server situation. Provide email, ftp, and web services
        without providing shell level user accounts. Ease future
        expansion and multiple server setups with a single SQL
        backend that multiple front-end email, spam, and
        filtering servers can access. A start-to-finish tutorial
        and discussion of pros & cons, and common stumbling blocks.

        Stan is currently the Network Administrator for the
        Clara Martin Center in Randolph, VT. He is
        working towards his Bachelor's degree in Computer
        Engineering from the Vermont Technical College. Stan has
        been working with small and medium sized companies for over
        7 years developing custom software, implementing
        networks, and helping to manage the growing need for
        smart solutions to problems. Stan has run his own
        personal ISP (if you can even call it that) for the last
        5 years, providing web-space and email to a close group
        of friends and small businesses.

8:50  Roundtable Exchange - where the attendees can make
        announcements or ask a linux question of the group.
