I agree with this sentiment.  I probably walk out my door wearing
sneakers close to 95% of the time.  I find winters in southern NH to
be pretty mild.

On rare occasions when it gets to be <0F or when we get >18in snow, I
view this as being a interesting diversion.

Like many people in New England, I find the change of seasons to be
simply great.
