This confusion arises from people misusing terminology. What the Globe
did was not "recycling" it was "reusing". Anything confidential should
not be placed in a recycling bin, it should be placed in a shredder.
I spent four years working in a credit union, where proper waste paper
handling was crucial. If anyone is interested in my full opinion on
this matter, contact me off list, as I'll spare everyone a lengthy rant.
