Red Hat man pages and escape sequences

Fire up emacs, and either:

  M-x manRET<name of command>RET

or:
  C-h i

to enter info mode, which the Gnu people seem to feel is superior the
man for some bizarre reason I'll never understand....

OR....

  Google: man <command>

which always seems to DTRT.
