Hanging server

Setup grub to use a serial console then hook up something to log that.

I've used a serial terminal server with conserver to monitor/log them.  If
you have one, conserver is cool.

If not, any system with a spare serial port and kermit w/ a script to log
will do.

The cool thing is that anything going to the console even if the system
crashes gets logged.
