I have never thought of Microsoft as a technology company, but for a very short
time in my distant past career I did think of them as potentially being a good
company to partner with.
Since this thread has devolved from a explanation of what a 64-bit operating
system is and why this phenomenon is not heralded by the onslaught of
Microsoft technologies to a discussion of whether Microsoft is a leader in the
computer industry and whether I think that or not, I hereby withdraw from the
thread.
