I had the privilege of being one of five panelists today at the
monthly Upper Valley Computer Industry Association (http://
www.uvcia.org) meeting, "Free Open Source (FOSS): Are there options
for your business? How can the use of FOSS software supercharge your
enterprise"

The other panelists included (scraped from the web site):
Bill McGonigle (moderator), President, BFC Computing, http://
www.bfccomputing.com (and DLSLUG coordinator)

David Clifton, Systems Administrator, Fluent Inc, Lebanon, NH, http://
www.fluent.com (and an activist to bring FOSS into the Plainfield
school system)

Ted Roche, Technical Lead, Ted Roche & Associates LLC, Contoocook,
NH, http://www.tedroche.com/ (and a GNHLUG activist)

Scott Helper, Web Developer

Todd Underwood, Chief Operations and Security Officer, Renesys,
Hanover, NH, http://www.renesys.com

Jonathan Linowes, Principal, ParkerHill Technology, Lyman, NH, http://
www.parkerhill.com/ (and a DLSLUG presenter)

There were sixteen attendees at the meeting. Bill present a set of
slides on the background of Open Source, proprietary software, and
the pros and cons of each, and then each of the panelists spoke for
five minutes on how they work with Open Source. A vigorous hour of
question and answer followed.

The treasure from my perspective: http://www.cmsmatrix.org, a web
site that compares the various Content Management System solutions.
