Someone in the NNEUUG who worked at DEC on TCP/IP v6 had X11R5 (R4?).

It was awhile ago around when X11R5 came out.  He gave a talk on porting to
TCP/IP v6 on Digital Unix and VMS.  Just a recompile, but they had a hard
time finding the VMS source code for a few things to recompile.

v6 was coming real soon now and DEC was at the forefront and people were
using the 6bone, etc.  10 years later.....
