I'm reluctant to offer Windows advice since I never made it to Win2k and
am likely to be too out of date to help.  partimage looks useful, but
has not made it onto my yum repositories yet.

Of course it probably makes the most sense as part of a rescue CD and I
am downloading the systemrescuecd iso now.
