Kmail weirdness

    Go into Settings->Configure Kmail->Accounts.  Under the Receiving 
tab, select the account then the "Modify" button.  On the "General" 
tab, there is a box "Filter messages if they are greater than".  Make 
sure it is unchecked.

    If it was checked, that may be the source of the problem.  I seem to 
remember that it occasionally gets the wrong file size or adds all the 
files together or something.

    No guarantees.  Just a suggestion.
