Linux-savvy PC repair near Ossipee or Conway?

Since she has to buy a new drive anyway, why not just buy the new
drive, ask them to partition the drive appropriately and install XP on
one partition, then your sister can install SuSE on the other.  Have
them mount the failing drive as a secondary drive in the chassis, then
you can, at your leisure, move the important data over.  Seems like a
much lower level of risk with a higher chance for success and
happiness to me :)
