Job opportunity

Hey everyone,

I don't mean to be cryptic, I just found out that I have the budget to get
some help today, and I have been working 10 - 14 hours a day for the last
eight days. I will definately post more details when I have a bit more
information. My biggest concern is finding someone that will be good to
work with. The job would mostly involve coding on and running a system that
is currently written in PHP talking to a PostGIS database. I have some
performance concerns with the current setup, so I am open to ideas. If
someone thinks they can re-write it in their favorite language I am open to
that. I think that we are going to formally announce the posting on Nov.
1st, but I would like to start talking to interested folks earlier than
that. Some knowledge of geospatial data would be good, but is not absolutely
necesarry. I also would prefer somone who knows at least one C syntax
language and has some database experience. I will happily post more about
this when I know more. The product that we are developing is here:

I am personally pretty open to training someone who is just starting out, so
I'm not really looking for any particular level of experience. I do ask that
any applicants be comfortable running Linux. ;) I'd ask at the moment that
you contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks for your patience,

Kjel
