Yeah, it gives me a slightly better idea of what you're after.
I'd recommend either FAQ-O-Matic (which, if properly groomed, is very
nice, but has it's problems) or a simple Wiki. Check out usemod or Kwiki.
Both are written in perl and are *extremely* lightweight and simple to
configure and set up. Kwiki is *extremely* extensible. Both are
easily served from Apache.
There are obviously many other wiki engines which offer varying
degrees of complexity and features. It sounds like you'd prefer a
KISS solution :)
