Permissions Issues

I finally figured it out... It was Samba. I was moving a bunch of directories this morning, so after the forst few, I re-configured Samba and added the new shares. I added the new share for engineering while I was in smb.conf, then re-started Samba. After that, I rsync'd the directory. Since the share existed, it added all of the Samba ACL's.

I resolved it by removing the share from Samba and re-starting it, unmounting the directory, re-mounted it, then added the share back into Samba and re-started it again.

Who knew?

Thanks,
Kenny
