Netflix & IE

I just discovered that Netflix is starting a new on-demand feature that will allow you to watch videos from your home computer, without waiting for them to arrive in the mail. This seemed like a cool concept, so I went to select a movie, but it wouldn't play on my Firefox browser. I sent a note to Netflix, and this was my reply:
"Currently, this content is viewable only through Internet Explorer 6 or above on PCs running Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista operating systems. "
I've been trying to convert my "average family" to open source software, starting with OpenOffice and Firefox. However, it's hard to do this when the rest of the world seems to revolve around MS products.
So... here's my request... If you are a Netflix customer, and think you might use this service, please send a note to customerservice at netflix.com and ask them to include support for Firefox in the next upgrade to "instant viewing".
I apologize for using this mailing list for a non-Linux issue. But, I don't think this feature will change until they realize how many customers they have that use open source products.
