SugarCRM

Now that I have another couple minutes I probably ought to actually
answer the questions directly. I've tinkered with SugarCRM but not
enough to really comment. I've seutp Vtiger for a client though and so
here are my responses in relation to Vtiger:

My client is a hardware sales/repair shop. They specifically asked for
Vtiger because it seemed to have better support for trouble ticketing
operations.

It was pretty trivial. 15 minutes and it was installed and running. Data
entry happened as work came in so it wasn't tedious.

After I installed it, a few months ago, I've not needed to do a thing
with it.

Yes, but they ended up wanting even more features than it provides. So
they're now looking around for a solution that is a closer fit to their
work flow model.

Apparently fairly well. The client is really a Microsoft shop although
they do have a little understanding of Linux. I'm managing the Linux
server though so they don't get into any of the nitty gritty of running
Linux. They readily figured out how to use Vtiger. I heard no gripes
about it being 'weird' to use.
