If you're into genealogy at all, I definitely recommend GeneWeb
(http://pauillac.inria.fr/~ddr/GeneWeb/) It runs as a stand alone
daemon, and requires ocaml to compile, but I have yet to meet a better
or more full fledged genealogy package.
