A quick Google reveals similar comments on Amazon, MythTV.org, ivtv- 
users mailing list and others. There's even an entry about it on  
their Wikipedia article. The "substitute" 1600 appears to not be  
compatible with the PVR-150 and not work with MythTV. This is  
unacceptable behavior.
