Request for a Good Intro to Linux / UNIX

There's a book entitled something like "Computer Forensics" which I
once saw.  IIRC, it had a chapter which introduced the reader to Linux
basics like this.

But I have to wonder why you would even attempt to teach forensics to
people who don't know how to use "cd".  This seems a bit like a
gymnastics coach looking for information on getting paraplegics to
walk.  Sure, some individuals could do it.  But I suspect most would
fall flat on their faces... or keyboards.
