This lecture is an astounding performance. I almost believe it's easier
to read the transcription than to follow Moglen as he speaks. He is
learned, ARTICULATE, and philosophical. He also speaks for over an hour,
without notes, certainly without PowerPoint, and with not an "uh" or "er"
anywhere. (Oh wait. He's a law professor. :)
It also opens new horizons (for me anyway) as to why we care about free
software. The reason I found the video myself was a blog post which said
that Moglen started off with "what if mathematics became 'intellectual
property'?".
We did a BOF in Durham on Tuesday night, playing the video on a projector
in the dorm lounge.
