Does anything else need to go into modprobe.conf besides:

alias car-major-61 lirc_streamzap
alias eth0 8139too
alias eth1 e1000
alias scsi_hostadapter ahci
options snd cards_limit=8
alias snd-card-0 snd-ice1724
options snd-ice1724 index=0
install lirc_streamzap /sbin/modprobe lirc_streamzap
