Yggdrasil was last released circa 1995. It did work. I didn't use
it much myself, so I don't recall much more than that. I'm pretty it
had an IP stack.
I believe it advertised the ability to boot from CD, detect
hardware, and start a running system, all without installing to HD --
what we today call a "Live CD". The more things change...
