  True.  In my case, I'm not using an encoder card, merely a capture card.

  True, but that's also the 'required' stream as part of DNLA.  In the
case of my house, we have many xvid encoded files sitting on the file
server, as we rip all of our DVDs to the server an reencode with xvid,
and file the DVDs in the closet.  Can't quite do that with the
Blue-Ray movies yet tho.  :-(

  Started messing around with the SVN trunk stuff, as it has many
improvements.  MythStream incorporated with MythWeb is my personal
favorite.  It's also what will end up allowing MythTV to real time
reencode to the supported MPEG2 format.
