  As I recall, there is a mechanism for "aggregators" in the IPv6
address.  Kind of like classfull routing in IPv4.  It's too early to
tell if/how they will work out, because it's too early to tell
anything about IPv6.

  I suspect this (or something like it) will always be an issue, one
way or the other, because you can't trust arbitrary others to
advertise their own routes properly.

  You used to be able to relay mail through any working SMTP MX, once.
