I'd recommend the Addonics AD2SAP-E, which I just put in my SOHO server:

   http://www.addonics.com/products/host_controller/ad2sap-e.asp

but it's not available from NewEgg. You'll see my review on NewEgg's
only PCI e.SATA card (for SATA-3.2Gb at least), from SIIG, warning
folks that the kernel module is experimental. Since I left that
review, the module's author has abandoned the driver as the vendor
was completely uncooperative (LBA-48 doesn't work).

The Addonics guys seem to be pretty froody - they talk about Linux
and specify the chipset right on the page, so you can cross reference
the driver before buying. Plug&Play in my case on fc6 (though now on
2.6.22). Their sales phone # is 408-433-3899, maybe they can find a
local retailer for you (Ingram distribution).
