Knowing a lot does not make you "brilliant". Intelligence does that.

We (Americans) don't need more people with degrees. We don't need
people who know more stuff. We need more people with wisdom.
Linus, for example, falls into "engineer" category. RMS, by contrast,
falls into the "wise" category. Without RMS the GNU tools, the GPL,
Linux, and probably FOSS in general would never have come to exist.
