That's an interesting take.
I have a Solaris file server with RAIDZ (like RAID5). I've been creating 2
DVDs. One local, one at a relatives place. I'm up to 10 DVDs right now. I
can SSH in for remote access & I have a reasonably quick uplink.
I don't know enough about S3 to know how secure it is against theft/someone
getting it online.
I'd also be concerned about how long they're going to be doing S3. I think
Google is working something similar up.
I'd be much more concerned about a newer startup or someone with a history
of abandoning products (Microsoft...).
