Serial admin console program

Also, most server grade x86 systems can be configured for serial BIOS
access, and a 48 serial console server is a lot less expensive than a 48
port KVM over IP system.

I've had very good experiences with the Lantronix SLC series, available
in a variety of port densities. They're also Linux based, though I think
their software is closed source. I have a dmesg around somewhere if
anyone is interested.
