video streaming and caching proxies

Hi All,

My kids love watching the Pink Panther Cartoon via NetFlix Streaming
(via TiVo). They watch the same episodes over and over. Unlike Amazon
On Demand, Netflix videos are not stored on the TiVo. So I was
wondering if a caching proxy server would help/work and keep my
bandwidth usage down? If so, I'd like to setup a transparent proxy,
would that pose a problem?
