Yup. Big company buys smaller company. Keeps things the same for a while 
then screws up web site and makes it harder for their customers. Been 
there, seen that, worked for similar big companies ;^)

P.S. It's not like Linksys had great support. I don't know if they ever 
did but it's pretty much useless now. I base that on clueless support 
personnel that told the customer to "press and hold the reset button for 
  15 seconds" and thus erased the existing configuration (VPN tunnel and 
ISP setup). One story among hundreds (maybe thousands - who knows).
