Having said that, I just noticed one for $25 at Newegg (with newsletter
promo code) that supports a stupid ethernet to wireless mode, that I can
hang off my existing 54G (doing the smarts there in DD-WRT).

It's only 10/100 on the ethernet side, but if it can get close to 80Mbps
for my netbook's home directory sync that'd be worth every penny (I get
about 20 now in -G mode).
