FYI: The Unix philosophy

Lloyd,

I am a great believer in a lot of the "Unix" philosophies on that list,
but I do believe that one philosophy should rise to the top like cream:

"Don't be a slave to philosophy"

While this seems a bit like the acronym "GNU", it simply means that we
use these philosophies as guidelines, not law.
