I personally, am a RedHat fan boy and haven't played with SUSE that much so my opinion is somewhat bias plus I have a preso from my RedHat rep which bashes SUSE from a business/Company side as well as a few technical reasons. Are there any advantages of SUSE over RedHat?

Novell will patch things into the kernel for customers that upstream wouldn't
touch with a ten foot pole (and by extension, Red Hat won't touch either).

Some see that as a benefit, but I suspect that's actually one of the negatives
in the presentation by your Red Hat rep (its two words, btw, "Red Hat", not
"RedHat").

This is really open ended.

Given that I work at Red Hat, I'm way too heavily biased to participate
other than to try to counter any arguments in favor of SUSE. :)
