  Hmmm... so is "λf·(λx·f (x x)) (λx·f (x x))" relevant here besides
having a convenient phonetic for its common name?  (I'm just curious
as to how much I'm missing... I've tried reading the Wikipedia article
twice, and both times my brain had a stack overflow. <grin>)

  I like spicy food, but I like my spiciness to be part of a greater
flavor combination, not straight-up.  :)

  That probably depends on the venue.  I'm sure there are some forums
where ASCII-only is considered the polite thing to do.  But most
systems these days can handle Unicode, even if their users can't.  ;-)

  FYI, Wikipedia also uses the dot operator (·) instead of the ASCII
period (.), so if you're gonna be all Unicode-y, that's available,
too.  :)
