I'll try to make it as well.  It's not often I actually have a day I
can make it to GNHLUG events.  As for places in Manchester, my wife
says that she enjoyed a lunch at Fratello's for a SWE function several
years ago and they had several different-sized rooms they could
reserve for groups.
