We usually start the "formal" meeting at 7 PM, make a few announcements,
and turn it over to the speaker.

Folks start getting restless, looking at their watches, around 9 PM.

So, you could aim for around 90 minutes.

I usually find presentations take longer than I expect.

Don't worry about a short presentation. We all have plenty to talk
about, Q&A to hold, etc. Say what you'd like to say and it won't be too
short.
