Try Fedora. The Fedora-Arm project is a little behind right now, but
they're in beta test of Fedora 13 and in a week should get working on
F13-updates and F14... With the hope that F15 will happen shortly after
the primary F15 release.
They have Gnome support (supposedly), and they certainly still support
the SheevaPlug. However I do believe you still need to use a separate
kernel and cannot use the Fedora-Arm kernel rpm.
