Speaking of 11.04 questions...

I find that the interface for Ubuntu Studio is less crowded and more pleasing. It is also more classic, and the distro doesn't load on a lot of junk.
Just when installing, you get to the options, like music, video, and so on, uncheck them all. 
Then just install LibreOffice yourself.
