APT/dpkg system within a system (was: Ubuntu... downgrade?)

   Please make sure you file a bug against that with Debian's "reportbug" 
command/package or via the Debian.org web site 
<http://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting>. That should be addressed, doubly so 
with a release close to going stable.
