FWIW, I think you can plug the USB in & transfer stuff. However, I've not
used it. I use ES File Manager which can connect to Samba to transfer.
You can use the web browser to transfer stuff to the Download folder and
move it as well.
Does anyone know of an scp/sftp client for Android? I've got connectbot
for SSH, but I'd love to have something like filezilla.

I looked at that too. They have a 7" with 1280x800 as well.
I don't mind the thicker transformer vs an iPad 2.
