Joseph Guarino discussed Moodle, a Course Management System that
educators can use to create effective online learning sites.

Abstract
Moodle is a powerful learning management system that lets you build and
manage an online learning environment built upon impressive open source
technology. It encourages rich collaboration and interaction between
teachers and students that lead to better educational outcomes. Although
the hacker credo, "Information wants to be free" isn't always true - the
tools of sharing that information often are. Moodle is a shining example
of a transformative technology birthed out of the genius of the open
source community. Join us to see how Moodle is successful at fostering
communication, collaboration and learning.
