"Attention, graying geeks: Send me your BASIC memories, as the language turns 50" -- David Brooks

David Brooks, the Granite Geek at the Nashua Telegraph, and an occasional
promoter of things Linux and Open Source, posts:

"BASIC turns 50 on May 1, and Dartmouth, where the programming language was
born, is ramping up for the birthday.

I'd like to do something myself, so if you're a Nashua-area person who has
memories of working/playing with BASIC, I'd love to hear about it. Email me
(dbrooks at nashuatelegraph.com) and we'll go from there."
