Arduino day

Fellow Penguins,

It was recently suggested to me that there would be quite the overlap of
interest enough to post to the discuss list, please pardon the relevancy.

This coming Saturday the 29th at 10am Makers in Manchester is organizing a
community event for "Arduino day" at the abiHUB on Elm st. Event details

 For those interested in getting started with the Arduino open source
electronics platform, there will be a free intro workshop. Mainly covering
going about programming an Arduino. Adafruit has generously sent us 3
beginner kits to give away at the workshop. Otherwise there will be some
project show and tell.
