NumLock doesn't seem to matter.  I can't type the letter b, or use a space.

Can't get into BIOS because ESC key doesn't work, at least with laptop keyboard.  

/etc/default/keyboard states
XKBLAYOUT=us
BACKSPACE=guess

Nothing about how many keys.  I have 102 keys on the laptop.  The Logitech has more keys.
